Work with us

Market Garden Co. is a family-owned business built around exceptional produce, knowledgeable people and a genuine respect for the craft.

Across our two busy stores, we’re proudly hands-on. The person ordering the mangoes might be the same person stacking them that morning, and the same one telling a customer which are ready for tonight and which will be better tomorrow. That depth of knowledge matters to us.

So does attention to detail, generosity with customers and taking real pride in doing things properly. Good produce is only part of what makes a great greengrocer. The people behind it matter just as much.

We’re always interested in meeting good people, whether there’s a position advertised or not. If you know quality, value hard work and believe the details make the difference, we’d like to hear from you.

Early starts, cold hands in winter, boxes that don’t unpack themselves. It isn’t glamorous. But you learn to tell a good avocado by feel, you get to know the growers behind the labels, and you spend your days around real food and customers who’ve been shopping with us for years.

Tewantin is now ten years old and Cooroy is turning one. Both shops run on the same idea: know the produce, look after the customer, keep the standard high. If that sounds like your kind of work, we’d like to hear from you.

You don’t need a résumé full of retail experience. You need to turn up when you say you will, care about the display you’re creating, care about the fruit you’re stacking and be happy talking to customers about what’s good this week. Everything else we can teach. Attitude is what builds great team culture and it’s something that we focus heavily on within our stores.

We’re not always hiring for a set role, but this is the kind of work that comes up. Tell us where you’d fit and we’ll keep you in mind.

Shop Floor & Produce
Building displays, keeping stock fresh and rotated, serving customers, learning the seasons as you go.

Juice Bars & Registers
Making juices and serving at the counter, ringing up sales, and being the warm face customers remember on their way out.

Stock operations & delivery
Receiving deliveries, checking quality and rotating stock, moving pallets safely on the forklift, and getting orders to doorsteps around Noosa and the hinterland.

Management & leadership
Running a shift or a store: rostering, ordering, keeping standards high and the team moving. For experienced hands who want to run things, not just work in them.
